A sanctuary of brass, velvet, and spice.
Restaurant Dubai opened its doors in central Ljubljana with a singular intention: to translate the warmth and ceremony of Middle Eastern hospitality into a fine-dining sanctuary on the banks of the Ljubljanica.
Hand-carved mashrabiya screens, brass lanterns, and emerald velvet banquettes shape a room that feels equal parts Beirut salon and Dubai majlis — quiet, intimate, and unmistakably elegant.
Our kitchen sources saffron from family farms in Khorasan, sumac from Aleppo merchants, and herbs from Slovenia's alpine valleys. The result is a cuisine that respects tradition while remaining unmistakably of this place.
The Welcome
Every guest is received with a glass of rose-water and dates — the oldest greeting in the Gulf.
The Table
Plates arrive in waves, mezze first, then grills and tagines, designed for slow conversation.
The Coffee
Service closes with a cardamom coffee ritual poured tableside from a brass dallah.
